The In-House (Recreational) program of Jaguars United Soccer Club is intended to provide a safe, soccer learning experience for all members of the club, with a strong emphasis on the word "recreation".
This program is intended to introduce and explain the game of soccer through a structured, positive environment and to instill the values of good sportsmanship and teamwork.
No scores or standings will be kept.
PARENTS:
Please plan to arrive at the field 15 minutes prior to the start of the practice / game.
Please stand on the side of the field opposite of the coaches. No standing behind the goals.
Cheer positively for both teams: "Good job", "Well done", "Nice save" etc.
Avoid instructing your child during the games.
Allow the coaches and other players to instruct.
Remember that the main objective is for the children to have fun!
GENERAL RULES:
Disputes with referees for any reason will not be tolerated.
Please help to keep our community clean. Do not litter or leave items on the fields.
If you bring something to a field, please make sure you take it with you when you leave.
All games will begin and end on time.
All players will have equal playing time.
Players must remove jewelry prior to playing. Take out earrings or cover with tape.
All kicks are indirect. Give the player taking the kick at least 8 feet.
A coach will contact you if a game is to be cancelled due to inclement weather.
If you cannot attend on your snack day, please switch with another family in advance.
EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS:
Ball size:
U6, U8 - Size #3
U10, and U12 - Size #4
Number of Players:
U6 - 5 V 5 with no goalie
U8 - 5 V 5 including a goalie
U10 - 7 V 7 including a goalie
U12 - 7 V 7 including a goalie
Team jerseys should be worn for all games.
Shin guards are required and must be covered by the socks.
Spikes are allowed but not required. Football or baseball spikes are not allowed.
